Can it get worse?
Honestly, does
it get worse? I am not sure my heart can take much more. The Niners
keep finding new and interesting ways to lose. They keep driving home
the point that their talent level would be hard pressed to compete with
Oregon State, let alone USC. And as things on the field continue to
plummet, security has decided to ban DumpYork T-shirts from the
Candlestick. What kind of world do we live in?
First the game. BAD. Second the security. TERRIBLE. Need I go on?
I Guess so.
I like some of the things Nolan is doing. I think his long term game
plan is probably a good one. But his game management is far from good.
Spending two timeouts on one play? Come on, junior high-schoolers know
the replay rules by now. That was horrible! There is a lack of
discipline on the team that shows in dumb penalties and poor plays. The
lack of talent was evident on Boldin's go ahead touchdown run. How bad
was that on 3rd and 20? A year later we should be showing some
improvement. Instead, I am not sure this year's squad could beat last
years team.
So what happens now? The players suck. The coaching, while maybe their
long term ideas will work (let's hope), in the short term are not
getting the job done. And at the management level, we have an owner
that is worried about his fan base showing up in DumpYork T-shirts.
John, if you are so damn worried about this website, then do us all a
favor and sell the damn team! You don't want it, you certainly don't
deserve it, and apparently fear is causing you not to like it. So save
yourself, save all of us, and mostly just save the 49ers! Sell the
team! Until that happens, I fear there is just so little hope.
