A WIN
It has been a long time since I have felt so good on a Monday. WE WON!
A very nice job by the Niners. Sure we blew a 25 point second half
lead. But we won. And having only done that twice this season, I will
remain positive. Sure, we are now 2-0 against the mighty Arizona
Cardinals. But crack the champagne, we are 2-0 against somebody!
A single win does not change our focus. The mere fact that we have to
celebrate a win like this just shows how far we have come. I know I am
not alone in feeling a tad strange that we do have to celebrate a win
like this. But, I will stay positive, it was a win and now we have two!
So many things in this game echoed all we have said. There are serious
talent questions. Our coaches are suspect. Everything that happens on
the field reflects upstairs. But I shall remain positive. For we are
undefeated against one division foe!
There is hope for next week against a struggling Skins team. Who will
be coach? Who will play QB? RB? Questions swirl around our club. With
little direction and little to show, but for now I will remain
positive, because we have won another game and now that makes two!
I am a Niner fan. I am spoiled by Super Bowls, playoffs and 10-win
seasons. My goals and the teams should be one and the same. Win it all
or all is bust. So while reality of this season and the pessimism of
our future will flood back on Tuesday, for now I remain positive
because the Niners have won two!
